I just couldn’t help myself!
Ever since my emergency Blackberry Curve purchase a couple weeks ago, it’s been eating me up that had my old phone lasted just a week longer, or had I not left for vacation until a couple days later, I could have waited for the Bold. After all, the Bold finally offers most of the formerly-lacking features that had initially turned me off of Blackberry: wifi, editable Office documents, better multimedia, including the ability to sync with my iTunes (although it still can’t support WMA-DRM audio files), and access to the faster 3G network.
I’d never really given any thought to waiting a couple more weeks for the Storm, or switching to Verizon. I’m not a fan at all of touch screen phones.
So, I finally stopped back into the AT&T store yesterday to just “look at” and “evaluate” the Bold.
Within about 2 minutes of picking up the Bold, I knew I wanted it. Don’t get me wrong… I was very very happy with my Curve. But, it was instant love with the Bold. And I knew that, despite the extra money it cost to trade in my Curve and upgrade to the Bold, if I did not make the move to the Bold while still within my 30-day trial of the Curve, it would eat at me until I finally broke down in a year or so and forked out full price for the Bold.
I’m only 2 days into owning the Bold, so I’m still learning how to use all of its cool features, but so far, I do absolutely love it! The photo/video/audio clarity and 3G network speed alone make it worth the price.
