Facebook Groups for SchoolsA couple of weeks ago, I posted a “wish list” of functionality and featuresthat I wanted to see in the new Groups for Schools platform from Facebook. This past weekend, Facebook finally opened up this platform to my own campus network, so I’ve been getting my hands dirty this week in the new Groups for Schools Platform.

I pulled together a quick tutorial post for our library blogyesterday after discussing Groups for Schools in a session at the “Teaching and Technology Day” professional development program put on by our Faculty Development Center this Tuesday.  I also note some campus use cases in this post.

Since Google penalizes web publishers’ SEO rankings for posting duplicate content, I am not cross-publishing the post here. Instead, hop on over to our library blog to read the article. Have you tried Groups for Schools yet? What are your first impressions?
