For the second year in a row, my Cal State Fullerton colleague Michele Wood, PhD (Assistant Professor of Health Science and Director of the CA-NV Public Health Training Center) and I are team-teaching a half day workshop on social media for public health programs. The event takes place next Thursday August 30th (8:30am – 12:30pm), is FREE, and is sponsored by the County of Orange Public Health Services Professional Training and Staff Development Committee, and the California Nevada Public Health Training Center. It is targeted towards health care personnel and practitioners.
While last year’s workshop presented a general overview of tools, tips, and use cases, this year’s workshop is focusing on the CDC’s social media guidelines and toolkit.
If you are a public health practitioner, or work in public health administration, and live/work in Southern California, don’t miss out on this excellent FREE workshop! There are still a few spaces available, so register online now.
