The Life Story of Maria (Nieto) Robledo: This interactive multimedia story chronicles the life of my Mexican immigrant great-grandmother. Born Maria Hermalinda Nieto Compeán in a small beautiful rural rancho in the state of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, she was and is known as Nana to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 2nd great-grandchildren. Nana is who raised my father. She died when I was about 3 years old, so I do have a few memories of her. This project is dedicated to my dad, Benjamin Robledo. Last updated 9 September 2025.
